Then they invite you into your local centre for regular visits.

| | | Immunisation | | | The Shire offers a free, comprehensive childhood immunisation program at various locations. No appointment is necessary. Details of the immunisation program can be provided by our Maternal and Child Health nurses or by phoning: 5950 1647. Alternatively you can download the Immunisation Scedule from the bottom of this webpage.
It is a legal requirement that a "Certificate of Immunisation Status for Primary School Enrolment" be presented to the school when children are enrolled. Council issues these certificates free on request at Customer Service Centres, Immunisation Sessions or at Maternal & Child Health Centres.
Parents can bring the evidence of their child’s immunisation status to any of the Shire’s Customer Service Centres. If their child was fully immunised through the Shire program the certificate can be mailed following a telephone request that can be obtained by calling: 5950 1647.
An annual vaccination program is also provided in co-operation with secondary schools.

| | | Family Day Care | | | Family Day Care is a high quality accredited home-based childcare service funded by the Commonwealth and sponsored by Mornington Peninsula Shire.
Our Careproviders are located across the Mornington Peninsula. Family Day Care is aimed primarily at children from birth to five years but can assist primary school children and may assist older children in special or emergency situations. The care takes place in the homes of registered Careproviders, who are visited regularly by the scheme’s Early Childhood trained staff.

| | | School Holiday Program | | | The School Holiday Program caters for primary school children and is conducted during school holiday periods as an alternative for families who work or have other commitments and require care for their child or children.
The School Holiday Program operates from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday during the school holidays and is operated from the Mornington Leisure Centre and Bittern Memorial Centre.
The program does not operate on public holidays.
The Program includes a variety of activities and outings, taking into account children's social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs. The children have a choice of activities that they can participate in.
