ABC Learning Centres

Our Four Building Blocks

ABC’s FOUR BUILDING BLOCKS. THE BEST FOUNDATION FOR A CHILD’S FUTURE.

ABC Learning Centres is committed to ensuring each child is loved, nurtured, educated and given the best possible chance in life.

That’s why we have specifically created the ‘Four Building Blocks’. Each one of these building blocks is a pathway to a child’s overall wellbeing and future development.

The building blocks are called:
  1. Learning Curriculum
  2. Nutrition & Physical Development
  3. Centre Staff Training & Development
  4. Facilities & Environment

Learning Curriculum.
We recognise that in order for young children to reach their full potential in a learning environment, they must each be viewed as an individual. As individuals, each child has unique interests, varying levels of skills and very specific needs from adults and peers. Our tailored learning curriculum focuses on each child’s unique style of learning that allows them to gain the most from experiences. Literacy, numeracy, and computer skills are key elements of this building block.

Nutrition & Physical Development.
We offer specialised and fun programs to nurture a child’s nutritional and physical development. Our aim is to ensure children begin and continue to make healthy choices, as well as enhancing and maturing their gross and fine motor skills. The programs and the activities offered in this building block are based on the individual child. Each child is able to develop skills according to their own unique abilities.

Centre Staff Training and Development.
ABC centre staff are registered early childhood professionals, dedicated to the development of every individual child. All our staff training and assessment services are not only relevant to the real world but also incorporate holistic practices in child development. They undertake continuing levels of study to achieve their qualifications developed specifically for the care and education of children under 6 years of age. Staff qualifications range from Certificate level through to Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and for some the Masters degree. And ABC staff are employed according to the Child Care Regulations and Acts specific to each State/Territory.

Facilities and Environment.
ABC prides itself on making certain that all centre facilities are constantly upgraded ensuring a safe and secure environment for all children. That’s why we have re-invested close to $100 million into our early learning centres over the last four years. Our extensive play and educational facilities are specifically designed with child safety and child development as the main priority. We are also the only company continuing to build centres in all areas where need exists across the country.
