Groups YRC run:
  • Boys Only Zone (BOZ) - a social group for young males ages 12-26 who live or attend school in the Frankston municipality. Activities in the past have included rock climbing, swimming, computers, movies. Cost: $2 per week (some activities incur a cost)
  • Sercret Girls' Business (SGB) - a social group for young females aged 12-26 who attend school in the Frankston area. Activities in the past have included art and crafts, rock climbing, gym sessions, skincare workshops. Cost: $2 per week (some activities incur a cost)
  • Young and Pround (YAP) - a support group for Same Sex Attracted young people. A twelve month program for young people aged 16-21 living, studying or working in the Frankston municipality. Cost: $2 per week.
  • Fresh Entertainment - a committee of young people aged 12-24 living, attending school or working in the Frankston municipality. Organises music and entertainment events for Frankston. Hands on experience in organising events.
  • Young Mum's Group - held at Orwil Street Community House. An informal group designed for young mums to share stories and experiences about parenting. Free
  • SELF - an 8 week self esteem group for over 18s. Held 3-4 times a year. Cost: $2 per week.
Other Services:
  • Information and referral on a wide range of issues including health, education, employment, accommodation, family, relationships.
  • Free access to computers, internet, photocopying, faxing for young people aged 12-25.
  • Youth Counselling for young people aged 12-25 living, working or studying in the Frankston municipality. Free service.
  • Doctor available by appointment on Friday afternoons (1pm-5pm). Bulk billing and confidential service.
  • Maternal and Child Health Nurse available on Monday afternoons (1.30-3pm). Free health checks for babbies and toddlers.
  • Midwife - antenatal clinic for pregnant young people. Bookings made through Frankston Hospital and run out of the YRC. Thursdays 10am - 4pm.
  • Family Support Services - for families living in the Frankston municipality with children aged 0-18 years. Referrals made through Anglicare.
  • Needle and Syringe program for young people aged up to 21 years. Free and confidential.
  • Mobile Youth Service - outreach service on weeknights and weekends to a variety of suburbs in Frankston (Karingal,Carrum Downs, Langwarrin, Frankston North). Education programs in schools by arrangement.
  • School Holiday Program - activities held during school holidays for young people aged 12-16 attending secondary school. Must live or attend school in the Frankston municipality. Cost of activities vary.
  • A range of different events are run thoughout the year including Battle of the Bands, skimboard events, skateboard competitions.
